Industrial Older Table Lamp

This is from the office of the founder of all the paper mills in Central Wisconsin, has anyone seen a lamp like this before, I'm thinking Mid Century but not sure. The wood is Oak and the center area is all brass or bronze. It should have a globe but that is missing. The lamp is heavy.
