Love the cobalt blue!
Cute chick.
Cobalt blue is a lovely colour for him to be and he is so chubby!!! It's my guess he's got plenty of garden feeders to visit :P I'm reminded of a bullfinch actually, with their stout bright bodies and little bull neck, I wonder do you know of those birds?
Chubby, placid looking little fellow.
Thanks so much to all for the kind love

Thank you six-0-one for the lovely compliments, it is quite cute and I love when I find cobalt animals, it ebbs and flows with how often they're available, pretty scarce now
Hoot I am so glad you loved this color, me too, and this little bird had so many shadings it brings out the intense blue. Thank you for your super compliment
Lauren thank you for the fab compliments and yes I've seen bullfinches in photos plus think I posted one by Kosta Boda, they are chubby and cute except I seem to remember them with crested head (maybe not all species, we don't have them in my area). I thought of the sparrow which NY has tons of here, they are always chubby and our most common wild bird, always fun to watch them at bird feeders they are little gluttons!
Thanks Kevin for your great comment, it definitely has a calm vibe, sweet and portly - as you've probably guessed by now, birds are my fave subjects :)
Karen thank you for the lovely compliment & sorry I missed including you, early a.m. here & my eyes are still focusing - I still have a 5" smartphone, so small you have to buy the cases online they no longer sell them in stores. I agree, it is very baby chick-like, another reason for its chubbiness lol
O Newfld, you'r in my neighbourhood now :) this brings back childhood memories. Almost everyone had one of these in their homes here in Sweden. I love this blue color. I collected tiny mini glass animals as a Child. They were absolut popular and came from the glassworks here.
Elisabeth thanks so much for your kind comment & the love, I am so happy you enjoyed this blue Reijmyre bird and it brought back fond memories. Sweden has the most beautiful glass, I am still discovering your vintage glassmakers and their beautiful animals, hope to have more to show you soon - Jenni
Thanks & very grateful all for the love
