A Die cast Collectors Dream

If you look at my previous posts you may notice i recently rescued a 1:16 scale danbury cadillac elderado from a family members home. Saturday we decided to pay one final visit to take as many items as we could. I decided i was going to make sure there were no more die cast . In a storage room in the basement there was a huge selection if g.i.j.o.s and metal toys. At first, it was intimidating but we decided to check the labels of every single box to know what exactly was down there. And sure enough near the end of my search, I found these three boxes full of Franklin mint and Danbury mint diecast collectibles. As well as a vw beetle. I hope to clean all of these up and display what i can. Unfortunately there was no packaging material or papers left from any of the cars. I would say this was a very lucky and a very rare find at that.

Mystery: was there a diecast collectors club of franklin mint corvette diecast in connecticut? It seems as though my family member had a lot of corvettes in the collection so I’am curious.
