Carved Eagle On Live Edge Log

Another piece I've had for a long time. I have no idea who did it. I've always enjoyed it. I imagine it was very difficult to do this? it's not the most spectacular rendering of an eagle but it's very folk art. The lighting wasn't that great in the pictures. It's way more impressive in person.

    21 1/2" x 15"

I did add the kickstand at the back to keep it from getting knocked over by accident.

It is a very nice piece of folk art. It appears to be done using the pyrography technique.

Yes I should have said pyrography. You are correct. I have enjoyed it for a long time. It's a big impressive piece.
