David Mann Print
I purchased this print in 2012 with the intention of framing it and hanging it. I never did... it still sits in the original Shipping package from the original owner. This is a print that you could have bought at a motorcycle show in the 70s.
Approximately 16" x 12"
I'm not sure exactly how many illustrations David Mann did but it was a lot. His attention to detail is just amazing. Just look at the mirrored images in the print.
David Mann (September 10, 1940 — September 11, 2004)[1] was a California graphic artist whose paintings celebrated biker culture, and choppers.
Excellent print ! I would surely frame and hang it up :-)
Thanks. It's on the list. Theres a few more important works in front of it.
Nice print. Love David Mann's paintings. I use to have a rug/tapestry, with his Ghost Rider painting printed on it, hanging in my kitchen.(Obviously before I was married) Cheap piece of merchandise. Your print is a whole other level. Definitely worthy of display. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comments. I'm surprised more people didn't love it..he was a pretty important artist. Made a ton of amazing art, and inspired many others. .
His work was tied pretty closely to the biker life style. Outside of that I don't know that he had much of a following. That probably has something to do with it.
