This style of vase was made by Hisatoshi Iwata in only two colours I have seen. Most common is a royal blue and this aqua the least common.
Stylistically they seem a very Japanese take to me, with their urn shape, foot and intense colour and I don't think they could ever be mistaken for a Euro or American pulled feather vase.
Hisatoshi Iwata had a much more controlled style to his glass making than his father Toshichi, and I think this vase shows the care taken with the contrasting lines of different blues and the gold. It is very symmetrical.
This was a lucky find for me, tucked away in a group, and covered in paint spatter. I was pretty happy it turned out what I thought and cleaned up well.

I'm enjoying the Art Nouveau vibes in this, plus a different & elegant spin on the classic pulled feather decor (one of the oldest glass patterns, it goes back to antiquity - Egypt, Rome, etc)...

It’s a relatively poorly recognised part of the art glass world, Modfather, but interest has been growing.
Happy to have given you some awareness.
