    TallCakes
    (114 items)

This is a nice piece from the EAPG era by Gillinder and Sons made in the 1880s; technically this wouldn't be considered EAPG as it is not part of an expanded pattern including matching pieces. There is a catalog listing from 1881-1889 naming this as 'Rustic Bowl' with no other title; images have both a shallow and deep bowl on pedestals of a boy and also a girl. This has really nice detailing in the frosted stem and foot. I'm still looking for the matching piece with the girl stem. I see these sometime listed as 'Goose Boy or Girl' but to me the fowl at the boy's feet look like a hen/chicken and you can actually see the detail of the feet.

thanks you again Vintagefran : ) This is one of the favorites in my collection. These do come up at various auctions sites, but not too often. I'm still looking for the matching girl piece.
