I'm interested to find out about this Antique Pottery Vase that I found at the Flea Market Today 09/13/2020 The Vase is 15 1/2"tall 7"wide and 4"across the rim, It has 2 handles bending down from top 6" that look like long leaves, and an Art Deco Slip drawn design with Asian Flowers hand painted onto the front of the burnished olive colored Vase, it has a white glazed interior, and bottom to give it a Porcelain look! Any ideas? :^D

Looks Czech/Bohemian rustic hand painted design on pottery, Art Nouveau style, surprised there is no ID on base, antique piece. Such as Amphora. Hope you get more opinions for this interesting piece. Thanks for posting, my mask is hanging by the door....

Hey Bill, dont loose your sense of humor, I understand what you are doing and why. If it helps anybody be more careful I am all for it.
The vase in your link is Japanese I think, early 1910 of so export to USA, they were many of these ordered from catalogs, and they all have similar styles and sizes, 12 inches high floral arrangements on an airbrush background in various shades of green, with small handles and unmarked.
I used to collect and sell these, as well as other types of Japanese ceramics. Take care.
Hey Lisa I also found some (Reinhold Schegelmilch) RS Prussia vases that looked very similar, but nothing that I found were as large as this one is! I'm still looking though! :^D
Washing Hands often and always Wearing a Mask in Public, is just an Easy Thing that everyone can do to Stop the Spread of COVID-19! :^)
Bill, when I did a search earlier, I noticed there were a lot of similar vases, all from the same time period, but from many different countries, interesting because they probably all ended up in the USA, population wise, and economy wise the USA was and still is the best market to do business with. Maybe I will find a way to do a mask with the keyboard: -{O}- hows that?
That's Good Lisa, or this <{M}> lol Thanks for your help I think the Vase that I have is from Japan, because it's not glazed on the surface, it's just a brushed finish like a stain that's why the handles are white on top of them from cleaning over the years it just comes off. :^D Still searching though!
Thanks to everyone that is helping to stop the Spread of COVID-19! :^)
<{M}>
Like that, I was thinking of an M too instead of an O.
I don't think Japan, but hey, it's possible, it's those trails of dots in between 2 lines that trow me off, one thing I am learning here, a lot more to consider than I thought. Thanks Bill.
Thanks for the love bb2 was here, and Essince, it's always good to get! :^D
