1950’s style Smith Miller Union 76 B Mack gasoline truck

Bought this Smith Miller truck cab and polished tank from the owner of Smitty toys last year. I painted it and made it into one of the original Union 76 Tanker trucks from back in the 90’s. Fred Thompson bought the old Smith Miller toy company back in the 90’s. He bought all the dies to recast new toys just like they did back in the 50’s. He found this last cab and tanker in his warehouse and sent me the parts to complete it. It took awhile and some patience to assemble and paint it with Union 76 colors. These toys were big 20” long and heavy and would destroy mom’s furniture back in the day. Nope the grandkids don’t play with this one.
