Hoping someone can tell a bit about this steamer trunk. Casters on the bottom have stamped on them
“Micholson pat’d 78 and under that july 21•85”.
Hardware on ends of the top appear to be a crown .
Thanks in advance with any help.
Michelson had a more than few different swivel caster patents over the years.

There were many manufacturers of this style of cross slat trunk. The slat clamp is J.H. Sessions hardware, Some makers may have had their initials cast in the castings they purchased from them. S,B,T Co. possibly could be these makers but without a true label one cannot be sure. These are just my own speculation.
Beals & Selkirk trunk company or
Schmit Brothers trunk company, hope this helps thanks for the post.
Another example of your hardware and bigger swivel wheels. Trunk is totally different shape though.
