Wood Roadrunner

My sister picked this up for me at an antique store that was closing. Unfortunately it had a large chunk out of the rear and it would not stand up. It's possible it had a tail section which counterbalanced the weight in the front? I believe I have saved it and it will live on.

I blended out the missing piece and I added a little polished metal piece so it would stand up. Someone put a lot of effort into this using different types of wood.

I formed the metal piece so the bowl would sit level and just a hair forward like it's running.
