The variations of wood is simply gorgeous and that alone makes the decoration spectacular. These were made in the 1930's, this one has all the bells and whistles of something of merit. Yours I would say was made in the 1930's like I said and the best place to find them is in some of the catalogs of the time. In Canada we mainly had Sears and The T. Eaton Co. and I loved to see their designs. Some were made into the 1950's but the 30's were their heyday. A friend of mine used to have one and I always admired it, but seemed a shame just to see it in the bedroom !~

2nd quarter, 20th century. Looks to be in great shape. Often see veneer issues with these, but yours appears to have withstood the test of time.

I’m looking for info on a similar piece with one “222” on it. I would love to know if you find out who the manufacturer is or any other info you may come across.
