At least in the form of a simple stone garage in front of a nearby house where one of my partner's family lives here locally, and where I otherwise had a few minutes to kill a few days ago to finally get some pics of it.
Pic #1 shows its west wall mostly, from that wider perspective the little structure doesn't look all that bad at a glance. Pic #2 shows its east wall more 'front on'...notice the severe "lean" its taken...harder to see are all the (many) cracked/deteriorating mortar joins still somehow managing to hold it together/up. Pic 3 is a flatter shot of the west wall exterior, again look close for the many fractured mortar joints, while also realizing that this wall also has nearly as severe a matching "lean" to it as its opposite one. Pic 4 is the remains of what once was a passage door on the rear wall, where the stone has already kinda started to fall away on one side.
I would guess (and only guess) it was originally built ca. early 1940's (or so) by the general age/history of the neighborhood it is located in. HOW ON EARTH it still manages to remain standing (not to *mention* why anybody would now wanna back their little silver car into it and leave it there??? <nonono!!>) remain beyond my comprehension...
Hope y'all enjoy the pics anyways! :-)
That looks incredibly dangerous! Is there a building inspector in that county? They would probably condemn the place and insist on it being removed. Can you give them a call? You might save a life.
