Picked up this early 1900's Canvas Flat Top Dresser Trunk a couple of weeks back, overall condition is pretty good. The price was great, 20 minutes from home. I have learned these don't come up to often, so get it while the getting is good. It's similar to my other, but yet different so fits right in. This one has eight extra Session's iron finger hardware, cast iron pierced valance clamps and shoulders and my favorite style cast iron dowels. Measures in at 34" Long x 21" Deep x 26" Tall. Interior is complete. No makers label. I was surprise to see the gold metal at the ends under the slat clamps as most are usually black. A few components have some interesting markings, those being the snap button top on the leather strap for the top drawer lid and the interior clothing strap clips. Not sure really what to make of these. Are they part of the company name/maker? The image looks to be a lamb or a poor representation of possibly a buffalo.
I have speculated but where does that get you..... Thanks for looking.
