My grandfather was rear tail gunner and tech sergeant b-17 Flying Fortress named ' The Bachelor's Bride" during WW2. His name was Bob McWilliams, ak.a. " Mack" to crewmembers. this could have been his?

You have a distinctive unit insignia (DUI) or simply called a unit crest by most soldiers.
Hard to determine the unit as it doesn't have a unit motto on it.
