    This has been in my family since before I was born in 1968. My father was stationed in Taipei and was also in Korea so not at all sure where it actually came from. I wondered what the markings meant.

      The markings appear to show a band. I would say this is a tourist item or perhaps purchased at the PX for a few dollars as a decoration.

      it is a SHOU = longevity
