      Interesting. I found this from past CW...

      "Webb Freyschlag and by G. Sommers wholesale firms. The star is a mold mark, used by this firm, for support of the base of the pieces. "

      Thank you for your response dav2no1, I have seen the piece in the link you shared. Although similar, I felt this wasn't close enough to my piece and octogram mark. As I stated, I'm a newbie so I hope not to offend. I've even went to the rsprussia/history site provided in the comments with no apparent success.
