HAVE THIS VASE FOR 30 YEARS AND JUST NOW I TURNED IT OVER WITH, HELP, TO SEE IF IT HAD
MARKINGS. I'M NOT SURE IF IT IS STAMPED OR A HAND WRITTEN SIGNATURE . BOUGHT IT AT AN AUCTION BECAUSE IT WAS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS PLEASE INLIGHTEN ME AS WITH THE PANDEMIC WE START TO LOOK AT THIS WE NEVER LOOKED AT FOR A LONG TIME
You have to rotate the photo of the mark 180 degrees. It's upside down.
thank you so much for your coment. will try to make it right!!
please tell me if I have it right and what it says....thank you so much
In most cases the marks are emperor marks - which unfortunately rarely can be trusted - and you can find lists of them in numerous books as well as on the Internet. The vase looks like recent exportware for the West.
it,s a cute vase , but it got some problems , and you have to be my eyes, first of all the mark is qianlong because the 3 symbol is fishhook and the 4 symbol is the key on the left
its canton export porcelain ( see red lining and classic greek = mitla keyfret on feet)
i think someone faked a 19 century vase
its a 3 or 4 generation Canton at best late republic period , because there are no eternal knots in it nor longevities, nor copper diadem the birds aint the guangxu type, and the roses are rigid,
cute , but i have seen better
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ANSWERS..FORGOT TO MENTIO VASE IS 37" TALL.
