    Wood Carved Figure

The statue is about 6 3/4" tall, 2 3/8" wide and 1 3/4" deep front to back.

Picked this up in a lot with some other items over the weekend.

I'm not sure What the origins of the statue are. However with the round moon like face I believe this is an Eskimo carving?

I recently saw a rerun of the Antiques Roadshow from Fort Worth in 2017. There was an Eskimo bowl with a figural head that looked a lot Like this statue.

I may be completely wrong? I'd like to hear your opinions as to what the origins of this statue are.

It's a tropical wood, if that's any help. Pretty much rules out Eskimo!

Ok thanks. I couldn't exactly identify the wood. So my other thought was then it was South American possibly?

No identification has been established, so can't determine age or where it originated..
