Eddie Van Halen. Died today at age 65. He along with his brother Alex formed their band 'Van Halen' back in the early 70's. in Passadena Ca. Along with David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony, they went on to rock stardom. Many great hits and jams came from the band thru out their career. I personally go for their deep cuts. But they had many radio hits also.
Here are 2 of their albums .
    1st & 2nd, Van Halen 2, 1979 2nd album
    3rd & 4th, Women And Children First, 1980 3rd album.

After David Lee Roth left the band they continued on with Sammy Hagar on vocals. I did see them once with Sammy but never with Roth.

Although not my fav band, A superb guitarist he was.

Not my favorite either but it's up there. Grew up with some of their iconic music. And still have some of their songs in my current playlist.

I know! This was really sad for me! I used to party with them before they became famous! They played a lot just in the next city to where I was back in the day. I wasn’t crazy about DLRoth, too into himself but back then aEddie was super sweet!
