Got this pretty little solid silver charoot holder in a bundle with a silver fob and a solid silver 1936 Sampson Mordan pencil for £26.00. The charoot holder has the Birmingham makers mark RB in seperate triangular lozenges and the date letter y 1898 but I cannot find reference to the maker, can anyone help ?

Yeah it doesn't seem to make sense? Maybe it's somebody's initials?

Well it’s not one of the marks on the net .... but might well be Barker Brothers.

The hallmarks are larger than normal, again that seems odd.
