Here is a 3"H x 4"W glass robin with natural coloring of brown, grey, and red-orange breast with two black eyes. From the glass animal series done by Paul Miller for Langham Glass England, etch signed on bottom ca. 1990s
Love these little birds! They seem to be such a common visitor to the garden at this time of year except this summer we had one build his nest twice in an old birdhouse we have, they had 6 robin chicks.
Your has such a nice pose, the very slight little head tilt makes him look inquisitive and curious(like a real robin!) Colours are really warm and subtle too
Love the colors on this one Jenni, very attractive glass figurine.
Great colors on this piece...a very handsome Robin!
Thanks so much everyone for the love here

Thanks Lauren for the fab compliments, it is a pretty well done and realistic robin - what I like about Langham is that they make a variety of wild birds not just one generic glass bird. That's so cute about the robin's nest and that you got to see the babies, I love their pretty blue eggs. It's funny, people here mostly associate robins with springtime but they are really a year round bird, and do you know they are like the only non seed eating bird, they prefer worms & fruit (never saw one at my bird feeder)
Lisa thank you for the lovely compliments, I really love the trio of colors here too, think the artist did a great job with the reddish breast design that's why I showed it in the first photo. It's always great to find a nice Langham piece, they are hard to come by & mostly have to be shipped from England so it's a bit of a wait
Thank you six-0-one for your really great compliment & love for this robin, he seems to be preening at the praise! Truly glad you enjoyed this bird, it may be my last Langham post for a little while so very glad he made a good impression
Hoot thank you for the wonderful compliments about the colors, I find it quite mystifying that Langham can make a hand blown glass animal with such color variety, goes to show you how far glassmaking has progressed over the years - they used to only do mono or bi-colored animals years ago, and now they can do different textures as well. And yes he is quite handsome and probably knows it lol :)
Robins - so cute, and this one is a lovely glass edition.
Very grateful for the love SJMC & Karen, it's so nice of you and my sincere thanks from my humble little bird
Karen thank you for the super compliment, Langham did do a very nice job here, as I was saying before I like that they have many types of birds not just one generic bird as many window glassmakers offered. As the holidays are approaching I may have to take a little hiatus on ordering Langham animals from England, do you know that often the shipping price nearly equals the actual price, it must be our dollar devaluation as they are only sent regular post. Not to worry, I have quite a few glass animals still awaiting their "turn", just less Langham :(
Sincere thanks to Sean & HappyHourOwls for the very kind love, I'm extremely grateful and delighted you enjoyed this glass robin
Miss seeing the Robins!..:-(

Thank you Penny for your sweet comment, I know there are times that you hardly see the colorful robins out there, and I know in NZ they are less populous & endangered. One of the reasons I have a few sonic wild cat repeller machines in our yard is to protect the ground feeding robin, as they make easy targets for stalking predators they are so bright & beautiful
What a lovely little robin! And the colors are perfect for fall.
By the way, you might be interested to know that your photos and post are featured on Collector's Weekly Facebook page today. :)
Hi Katherine & thanks for the really great compliments & love for this robin, now I do see it has very fall-like coloring & appreciate the wonderful observ!
I did not know this post was on FB as I don't personally do social media other than this site, but I'm very flattered that CW put it on there as it's always a good feeling to know my little animals bring joy to more people - thanx for letting me know :)
