Königlich Sächsischen concessionirten Koffer- und Taschen-Fabrik Moritz Mädler“ was founded 1850. From 1886 the factory has been located in Leipzig. In 1889 "Moritz Mädler" became purveyor to the Royal Saxonian Household. This model is supposed to contain up to six hats.
