      This style of spoon can apparently be traced back to mint julep origins in eighteenth century America (maybe beyond)... other later historical descriptors spring up here and there. I found other julep spoons which featured mint-lead-looking bowl shapes, bamboo-looking stalks. Tiffany had a mid-century run at them...
