Beautiful- I love how razor sharp and sleek he looks- the finless elegant look really suits him! But, when I first seen him I instantly thought SHARK!!!
I can definitely see him gliding through a reef, maybe even in an aquarium?
I find sharks very hypnotic to watch and were one of the first creatures that really made an impact on me as a child visiting them in a Sea Life centre- Good memories to be reminded of! :)

Lauren you have the most wonderful observant eye, I thank you so much for the super compliments and IDing this fish as a shark for me, I truly did not see it at first and don't know how I missed it, but he is indeed a very sleek shark! I am so glad it brought back memories for you, I too love those 'seaquariums' where you can see biggies like sharks up close. They are quite hypnotic to watch, they move so stealthily until they find prey, then wham!

Many thanks six-0-one for the lovely compliments & truly kind praise about my glass animal collection, I have a special room now for all my collectibles & will soon post a pic of my second glass animal display cabinet which I hope you'll like

Oh yes Phil, enough for an ark and then some - I have animals that I'm sure Noah never heard of lol! Thank you for the great compliment & comment you're always there for me with the nicest words

ZBS animals are so good. I think this is a Miloslav Janku design, so minimalist yet so alive.
      Is it neodymium glass Jenni?

Hi Karen & thanks for your wonderful comment. I am just finding out about ZBS glass, Janku is quite possible but no markings or attribution when I got this shark. Also not called neodyme but a lot of their glass was so it could be, one day I'll invest in UV or black lighting to find out for myself

Hey Jenni, neo glass changes from sunlight to flouro light which most modern globes are. If it's neo it will change from mauve to blue.

Thanks for the info Karen I'll check it out, didn't see color change pix of this one when I bought it tho. Planning to order a uranium glass animal in future so will get that light to hopefully take some fluoro pix to post

Thanks share for the super comment & love, purple in all its forms is also my fave color - painted my BR color lavender as a teenager & got all the matching bedding linen, think it's a cool soothing color & glad you like it, my shark too :)

To B., yes this is neodymium glass as I'm sure you surmised, wasn't sure at first. One more coming up, have a couple rarer animals this wk :)
