Often mistaken for Harrach Red Agate, this is, I believe a genuine Leveille piece. Fantastic powder marbeling on this with the inclusion of a lot of highly reflective gold metal. Image #2 looks like the surface of Jupiter, wonderfuly fluid and mezmerising. Inner layer is wonderful duck egg blue, has fine rococo and floral style enameling and a really well aged base.
I like the contrast between the inside cool white with added gilt, and the outside that is wild with color and aventurine.
Hi EZa - yep it's very cool - actually inside is blue - poor photography - my bad!
outstanding indeed
