Found this at a flea market. Bought as a gift to give somebody. I’m now curious of the history. Can’t see any writing on it. Very lightweight. Any help?

A lot of this is tourist stuff, but you have to appreciate the time taken to make.

I’ve found some more information on it now. I don’t see India stamped on it, or anything else. It’s also real brass, not brass plated. From what I’ve read that may be the difference between it being authentic or a replica. Any truth to this?
