Collectabl…
(310 items)
So say Queen Victoria leant a Scotsman her brooch to stop his kilt flapping on a windy day, thus the Kilt pin was formed.
So after collecting pocket watch keys for the last couple of years I have been looking for a new theme to my hobby.
These pins are so collectable I could not resist. This one signed by jacobite is a three agate stone set on a white metal frame, probably made in the 70s.
A very interesting item to which I’ve given little thought since it’s rare to see a kilt where I live.
I can understand the necessity of pinning one’s kilt! :^D
Not too many kilts in Devon either ho ho

Love your pin and scottish pins and jewelry. I like the thistel as a crown on the top. It will be easier for you too find scottish pins than for me here in scandinavia :) in order to give you extra energy in your new field if collecting "I dare you" to find more than me Neil:)
I ment to write that I love the pin in your post and that I also in general love Scottish jewelry.
Game on. I will say though, you are probably closer to Scotland than me, ho ho. ps I will post one now. Neil
Well by water maybe but it doesn't take long to drive from Devon to Scottland compared to the distances we have here if we want to go up north of Sweden :) and my boat is too small to take me to Scottland.
Game on Neil :) darn are you already posting another one?! Ha ha :) But this came can go on for years you know .....
You haven't posted another one yet......... so it is far from checkmate yet mate :) :)
Thanks Elizabethan for the love(seemed to have missed this one sorry) and my next pin has been posted. Neil
You are welcome, I will have a look at the pin. /Elisabeth
