Picked this up in an antique store in Oatman Arizona. For those unfamiliar with Oatman it is possibly the most fun of any Route 66 town. It's the one with the burros. And this is probably the best shop in Oatman. It has more than the usual tourist items and enough stuff to open a second store. Also the most taxidermy I have ever seen in a store.
There were plenty of buffalo skulls but they were the usual bleached ones with the bullet hole in the forehead which means they were farm raised. This one died in the wild thus the brown color. It is missing the horn caps but it was pretty cheap so I am good.
Got it set up outside but under the eaves so that is some protection.
Photo #3 is it in the store. Last photo is my other finds on my journey so stay tuned for that.
Cool Brian I got a few old cow heads hanging on my fence
Thank you very much OLECODY. I have them hanging on my outside walls. You can never have too many.
