This octagonal vase is roughly 7.25" high x 3" in diameter and 2" square. It has the same maker's mark and it is also on the top part of the vase, not the bottom, the same as the other vase. Still no clue as to the maker but it helps to have multiple examples. These are just some quick images, cropped to show the shape of the vase and the maker's mark. Though not consistent in shapes, this maker is very consistent in color palate and quality. Starting to lean toward 1950s period for these as they are very geometric in design.

The glaze on these pieces is not perfect and they were probably mass produced, but they are hand painted and the way the maker's mark is applied is intriguing to me as I seldom see this done. Their shapes are also uncommon.
Thanks for taking a look at my geometric vase Thomas, Jenni, PhilDMorris and MALKEY!
Thank you very much dlpetersen, blunderbuss2, aura, Kevin, Watchsearcher, dav2no1 and fortapache! I have found a couple more pieces with the same mark and am starting to build an image library for all of the variations I find. Some have tried to attribute these as made in China but several have "Made in Japan" labels. I have found some very similar, unmarked pieces.
Thanks getthatmonkeyoutofme!
Thanks Vynil33rpm and vcal!
