Glasfabrik Schliersee vase in cobalt-blue c. 1900-10, 16 cm tall. Iris flower decoration in etching ink, dekor 849. Form number 279 as documented in Christiane Sellner's book 'Gläserner Jugendstil Aus Bayern' page 269. No pontil, vase cut from top but polished very smoothly with no rough edges or flea bites.
Schliersee vases are rare, and usually misidentified as the works were only in existence for 10 years; this example was listed as Poschinger.
