Looks to be a US Army Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) also called a "unit crest" by most soldiers.
If you can read the motto at the bottom, it can probably be identified. Additionally a photo of the back is helpful in dating it.

It says "all for materiel for all" across the bottom. I've looked for several hours on online resources. Hoping someone will recognize it.
Thanks!
Not sure on that motto.
Can you add a photo of back? It may help on the era.
scott
Uploaded a picture of the back. Thanks for your help!
pinback (missing, but attachments visible) puts it as ww2 era.

Maybe old 52nd Ordnance Battalion ?
Does the crest or motto match? I cannot find anything on them.
I'd think some sort of quartermaster unit.

I spent 2 hours going through an online index of WW2 insignias and nothing. Not sure how something like this would fall through the cracks of record keeping.
If its help to anyone the shield shows: top left is cannon on wheels, top right is a rifle, bottom right is a hitched supply wagon, and bottom left I am not sure of.
