I recently purchased this old trumpet in its original case. The trumpet is marked "Diplomat made in England", serial #201458. There is no information anywhere about a Diplomat made in England. All I have found is that these Diplomats were and are still made in the U.S. This looks like a 1940's type trumpet. Any help identifying the maker or other information would be appreciated. Thank you

Not sure if this is a sociated or the same company?

I played the trumpet for several years when I was younger and in school. Of course I played a silver Yamaha..1st chair!
