Well, I've always been a touch on the gothic side of life, in fact when I was a kid I rather fancied moving in with the Addams Family...
So, even though Halloween is a relatively recent addition to the festive calendar in Australia (within the last 10 years or so), I'm getting in the spirit because it comes naturally to me...
    1. A still life of four Victorian glass hand vases & a vintage mannequin hand - inspired by Thing, of course. Pressed glass hand vases circa 1870s, made in England, & pair of mould blown hand vases with applied coralene decoration, Bohemian origin.
    2. An assortment of spooky Bohemian art glass (by Kralik & Harrach) plus an iridescent plastic skull, cufflinks & a signet ring set with glass eyes.
    3. A black columbine flower.
    4. One of my favourite movies is Donnie Darko...so if you've seen it, you'll get the reference to Frank the bunny.
"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"
I did a photo wearing the bunny mask but it was too scary to post...

      I ADORE this post Marin!!!
"But why are you wearing this stupid man suit"
The pieces are so nice, surrounding "THE THING", and that black "fritillaire" (name in French" is stunning :-D

      Thanks so much, Pascale!
It was a lot of fun setting up these photos...& I'm glad that you know the reference to Donnie Darko. I can really relate to that movie!
Interesting to know the French name for my black columbine. It has a very different form to the other columbines in my garden, which are pink & purple. They are new plants to me as they didn't grow where I used to live...only 2 hours away, but the climate is completely different.
