What’s the name of this game? Found this game in my parents drawer with no name or directions. I remember playing it many many years ago. Tried Googling it with no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance.

The tiles with numbers and the wooden holders for tiles look very much like Scrabble items.....have you tried researching other games made by the company who makes Scrabble?

My search started with doing just that. I googled scrabble type games, wooden tiles with lines and connecting games, with no luck. I then turned to my locate NextDoor group app. and got a number of people looking as well. It turned into a game trying to find out what it's called. I did find another game exactly like my on Ebay. The game title was not available, not even a box or direction sheet offer a title. The Seller was in the same boat as I was. I did email them, asking if they new where it came from. My parents are from Germany and have traveled there often. At times bringing back games gifted to us as kids. This game must be dated somewhere in the 1970's or before. I've emailed my Aunt and Uncle to see if they recall this game. Haven't received a response from eBay seller or relatives in Germany yet. I did find a game called Loopit, very similar more modern version but that game uses a board where mine does not.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

It almost strikes me as something that could have a maps/highways theme, but I certainly don't know...what fun, anyway...??!

It would be exciting if you have a prototype of some game that never made it into production.
No idea how you would research that though unless you could wade thru patents - but no date, no company, where would you even start.

The major companies who make board games might have customer service depts...maybe find out who you could send a picture to for them to identify if it’s one of theirs.

Good luck! Keep us posted with results!

Check to see if the tiles are magnetic....maybe there was a metal game board....something to keep kids busy on long trips.

I used to have magnetic checkers or some such travel game.

No, not magnetic. I will keep you all posted. It's been a mission of mine.
