Ceramic Skull & Military Helmet
This is the top of one of my gun safes. Was doing some cleaning and decided to show off some of my decorations.
Here we have my larger ceramic skull. This is the big brother to the other skull you saw in my previous post. I won both of these skulls when I was in high school at a Fourth of July picnic sometime in the mid 80s.
I knew a guy that worked on drive thru car washes. He convinced me to drill holes and install these lights out of his spare parts. That was in the early 90s and alcohol and/or other party favors may have been involved. It actually came out pretty good.
The skull is wearing some Aviator type glasses.
And he's also wearing..... if I remember correct.... a Swedish m1926 helmet.
M1926
The M1926 helmet is a military steel combat helmet that was used by Swedish Armed Forces.
A successor to the M1921 steel helmet, the M1926 was of a simplified construction to its predecessor and would be used in secondary roles for years after being formally replaced by the M37 steel helmet.
The liner being the same as on the M1921 but being attached straight to the shell instead of on a separate band.
My 1st guess was Japanese.
