    The pretty vases were sold as 'Webb' but are they really? There is no signature on the bottom of either vase. Could they be Bohemian? Three layers of glass - crystal over blue over white - you can see this on the highly polished, circular pontil dimple in photo 2. The blue shading gets stronger as it progresses up to the top. There are gilded painted flowers on both but they are not exactly the same design. The smooth rim is also gilded. Height 13 cms and 9 cms wide. Last 15 years of 19th century.

      Bohemian is definitely a possibility.

      Thanks, vetraio50. It is very hard to be definitive about attribution. A book or website will come out one day which will make it easier to identify these pieces from long ago.
