Danish sculptor H. W. Bissen (1798-1868) made in 1858 a sculpture "The Danish infantry soldier after the victory" commemorating the victorious outbreak from fortress town Fredericia July 6th 1849. Small scale copies were made and this 27.5 cm long rifle model of copper and brass is believed to have been part of such a, now lost, figurine. You can also see it on my wall in my last posting.
