Looks like a Chinese Baoding ball one of a set ? You don't mention what size it is .

There's some variety of tradition of Japanese pachinko parlors (or their players) engraving balls like this, I think -- but don't ask me to quote chapter/verse of such. I'd LOVE to see your machine Dave -- I have a couple of pachislo machines of my own, but not a pachinko yet... ;-) :-)
