Small Victorian Vaseline Opalescent Tazza

The thick opalescent pattern on this item is indistinct and makes it difficult to attribute to a particular glass works. It's definitely English and I think made in Stourbridge. Walsh Walsh ['opaline brocade'] or Richardson's? Made in early years of 20th century. Solid foot was made separately and then applied to the short stem. The foot has no discernible pontil - I think it was made using a gadget in the manner of the ubiquitous ruby and green wineglass feet that we see. Height 6 cms and width across the ruffled top is 14 cms. An interesting mystery. Up-date - the more I look at it, I think it could be by John Walsh Walsh. The shape of the foot and how it was applied is the clue for this attribution. They also had a wider range of opalescent patterns than Richardson who mainly focused on their "horse-chestnut" pattern.
