Wood Carved Fertility Idol

This very unique statue, which when I bought it I thought it might me a fertility figure maybe from Africa. It stands 19 inches high and about 2 3/4 inches wide at base. I believe it’s carved out of one piece of wood, don’t know the type. The more I look at it the more baffling it becomes. I see a nude woman enlarged belly symbolizing pregnancy and one hand covering exposed breasts. But it looks like the figure has male genitalia? Also it seems the artist On purpose carved one eye swollen shut like an injury occurred. The piece is not marked and everything I wrote is my guess. I hope someone can help identify its purpose and origin. Thanks for looking.
