This pheasant is quite realistically posed as it is no longer living and made to look one just got from a hunting trip. And of course you hang your kills on the walls of your log cabin, the dirt floor absorbs the blood. I have a dirt floor in part of my basement and it isn't so bad as the dirt is backed down past the top soil.
It is 22" from tip of the tail to the beak. It is a female pheasant. Looks like there would have been enough for one person like a Cornish game hen. Perhaps it should be served under glass.
Anyway I think it fits right in here. Although I think I need to rearrange. I decorate as I go.
I tend to like things that are unusual. Have another something unusual for next week.
Fabulous pheasant, looks great next to its friends (love that squirrel so alive looking), your taxidermy collection is the best fort
Very realistic pose for the moment.
That's a lot of work for a bird that looks as dead as it is.
Thank you very much Newfld. It is adequate.
Thank you very much racer4four. It is a lot of work to sell for $20.
