    Hand carved wood mask gold head piece with green parrots, carved red mouth. Nose sticks out. Eyes carved out. Brown complexion with red rouge on cheeks. Handmade and hand painted.

      Looks like a hobby project or something a cub scout or girl scout did. Not old and very sloppy. Probably a kit project you buy and paint to your own liking.

      I'd agree with the "not old" part, but think it's more likely a contemporary "tourist" mask from Guatemala.

      Those distinctive lower eyelashes are found on lots of Guatemalan masks, and the country is known for its birds, especially the variety of parrots, parakeets, macaws, and related species. It would seem like a mask that might appeal to a certain group of tourists looking for locally-made souvenirs.
