    Hello!

Wondering if anyone might have more information on this singer sewing machine I acquired from my mom. Serial # G6962363. It is the whole machine with table. Does anyone know when this is from?

      Hi, Sgio517. :-)

Per the Singer serial number tables at the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society (ISMACS) website, serial number "G6962363" would fall into this block of numbers:

      *snip*

      G- 6939401 6989400 66 50000 April 29 1919

      *snip*

      http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/singer_dating_by_serial_number.html

Serial numbers 6939401 through 6989400 comprised a block of 50,000 numbers that was allotted to the Elizabethport Singer factory April 29th, 1919, and destined to be stamped into the beds of model 66 machines.

      About the Elizabethport factory:

      https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/elizabethport

See the machine that stamped serial numbers into the sewing machine beds in action starting around the 14:17 mark of this circa 1934 documentary made at Singer's Clydebank (Scotland) factory:

As soon as I saw the pictures of your machine, I knew that it was a model 66, because Singer never put that decal set (called Red Eye) on any other model.

      The Red Eye decal set:

      https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/decals/decal10

I also see that your machine has a back-clamping presser foot, so that would mean that it's a model 66-1:

      https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/66

A manual for the model 66-1:

      https://archive.org/details/Singer661Manual

      The faceplate (66K [Simanco 32667]):

The circular back access panel being completely plain is a bit curious.

Your cabinet looks like Cabinet Table No. 6:

As to value: valuation isn't something done here at Collectors Weekly Show & Tell (it's against the rules).

You can get an appraisal by clicking on the Appraisal link at the top of the page (but it's not free).

Alternately, now that you have a bit more information about your machine, you can look at similar machines listed at eBay, Craigslist, etc. to get an idea of value.

There is also some advice in this article written by one of the ISMACS experts:

      http://ismacs.net/sewing_machine_articles/how_much_is_my_sewing_machine_worth.html

      Good luck. :-)
