Nice Judaica piece. Man, it is like some artists take joy in making their signatures as illegible as possible. I can't really make a good guess on this one, but the artist was pretty good, so they definitely did more work. It takes a lot of practice to paint good hands. Guessing this artist did more Judaica so you might try searching for similar paintings where the artist signed more legibly or information about the artist is included with the painting.

No guess on age. MDF board has been used since the 1930s. Not sure that the frame is a clue since is quite likely not original to the painting. What are the dimensions of the board?

Approximately 12” by 9” the painting itself

I was going to guess 9" x 12"! That is my favorite size for a painting. Not too large to fit into many wall spaces and large enough to contain interesting detail that is not too hard to see. Frame size can spoil versatility in hanging a painting, though.
