    So theres this 30inches long tong, with some Christian art seal on it, i have no idea what would it be or for what purpose it is used. Please give your views if you know anything about this item.

      I agree with IRISHCOLLECTOR. They look like they would have been used to make the large hosts (wafers) used by a priest during the Mass.

      AnythingObscure, the raw wafer material was spread over the four images and the tongs closed tight and placed in an oven or fire. When opened the cooked wafer has the impression of the image on it and the the excess can be trimmed off to leave a circular wafer. This tongs can make four wafers at a time.

      I've seen these before. You could be correct by the design on the tool. They made these with several designs to make wafers. They were called wafer irons and were used before the waffle irons of similar shape and deeper to form a waffle.
      Wafer irons were commonly used to make a hard tack type of thin wafer to take along on hunting trips in the wilderness. Nutrishsious, and light to pack
