This old photo shows my late relative, a US army lieutenant, and two of his fellow officers in
Calcutta in India in 1944. The army shipped items by air over the mountains to China to help
the Nationalist Chinese fight the Japanese army. My relative made it back home after the war, but
he never forgot India.
