Hello everyone,
Another fox from my collection. This one is a cold painted bronze dip pen holder. He is depicting the "Master of the Hounds". It would have sat, next to an ink well, on a writing desk back in the early 1900's, possibly late 1800's. He still retains 95% of his original paint and stands 4 1/2" tall. The dip pen did not come with this fox.
But, speaking of the dip pen. It is a gold filled presentation dip pen with mother of pearl handle. I have the original gold embossed presentation case with the name of the person who presented the pen as a gift, as well as the person it was presented to, and it is also dated Dec. 8, 1876. I'll post that in the near future.
