    Just found this tray and was curious about the markings. From what I can tell this piece is from the Sheffield silver company, but the markings didn’t line up with what I could find online. There is a hallmark of a bearded man facing right, a crown, and an “s” in old English script. If anyone knows if this piece is sterling silver or otherwise, do tell! Any information is welcome.

      That is silver plated. Think its American mark too..

      @dav2n01 thank you. I wasn’t sure, but the crown was definitely off from what I was seeing online.

      We had purchased a bunch of silver plated stuff for our etsy store. So I looked up a bunch of these and can recognize a lot of these marks.
