Wappat / Alta electric saw. Probably made in 1927
manufactured by Wappat Gear Works that started making Alta power hand saws in 1928. Since he dropped the Alta name in before buying Simonds Saw, this must be from 1927. It still runs well, but had been stored away by my dad for many years. I had never seen before we cleaned out his house for an estate sale.
